Meet the Producer: Stone House Brewing Company
There are so many different types and styles of beer these days. Lots of them are really great and the Stone House Pilsner is one of the best around! Stone House Brewing Company is Huron County’s original brewery, located in an adorable stone building located just north of Varna, Ontario and five kilometers east of Bayfield, Ontario. The tasting room is simple with clean lines and a great bar.
Mike Corrie is the face of the brewery and he is always there to welcome you with open arms! He has previous experience with a brew-on-premises operation in London, Ontario. The beers are extremely fresh and are all brewed using water from an on-site 250 foot deep well. Stop on by for a sample and pick up a growler or two!
About the Beer
Stone House Pilsner is a true Czech Pilsner beer. Crystal clear and deep golden in colour. A very crisp, clean approachable and refreshing pilsner with light straw grass and mild malt grain finish. Only the best SAAZ hops are used in the brewing of this beer to compliment its flavour and aroma. Exceptionally easy drinking Czech Pilsner with good levels of bitterness.
They have recently added a second beer which is a German Dark Lager. We look forward to tasting this new addition to the Stone House family.
